Here are screenshots of excerpts from John Baik’s \u00a0Luke 11 sermon on July 30, 2017<\/a><\/p>\n “Those who accept us find God’s salvation and a new life in Jesus Christ, but those who reject us reject God Himself”<\/em><\/p>\n Here John Baik is referring to himself as god (the trinity) in third person. He does this by saying “us” implying that he alone can save students. And those who don’t accept him as god are condemned. This is false and violation of one’s vocation.<\/p>\n Serving Jesus & his will and loving him is NOT limited to one application. The bible says so:<\/p>\n “4\u00a0<\/sup>There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit\u00a0distributes them.<\/span>5\u00a0<\/sup>There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.<\/span>\u00a06\u00a0<\/sup>There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone\u00a0it is the same God\u00a0at work.<\/span><\/p>\n 7\u00a0<\/sup>Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.<\/span>\u00a08\u00a0<\/sup>To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom,\u00a0to another a message of knowledge\u00a0by means of the same Spirit,<\/span>\u00a09\u00a0<\/sup>to another faith\u00a0by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing\u00a0by that one Spirit,<\/span>\u00a010\u00a0<\/sup>to another miraculous powers,\u00a0to another prophecy,\u00a0to another distinguishing between spirits,\u00a0to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a<\/a>]<\/sup>\u00a0and to still another the interpretation of tongues.[b<\/a>]<\/sup><\/span>11\u00a0<\/sup>All these are the work of one and the same Spirit,\u00a0and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.” — 1 Corinthians 12: 4-11 (NIV Version)<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n “God sent me a bible teacher, even my own personal bible teacher to help me and guide me”<\/em><\/p>\n This is NOT biblical. It actually comes from the shepherding\/discipling movement<\/a> that originated back in the 1970s. [UBF is one of the few organizations that not only still continue shepherding to this day but has also NOT apologized to ANYONE.]<\/p>\n Furthermore this teaching is extremely dangerous. As James J. Kim (former UBF missionary of Toldeo UBF chapter) states back in April 2001:<\/p>\n “Obedience makes one totally vulnerable to the object of one\u2019s obedience<\/strong>.\u00a0For this reason, obeying a mere man is such a dangerous act. The man obeyed becomes ultimately a god to the one who obeys, because the act of obedience, especially that of absolute obedience, is fundamentally the act of worship. Thus, absolute obedience to a mortal man is a dangerous and idolatrous concept, which should never be allowed.” <\/strong><\/em>Source:\u00a0http:\/\/ubfriends.net\/four-elements-that-hinder-the-ubf-reform-movement\/<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “God has sent his servant to you to save you from your sin…<\/em>”<\/p>\n This is completely FALSE. Only Jesus can save you from sin hence the shedding of his blood. By saying this John Baik is advocating and condoning idolatry in the church. God the Father specifically said:<\/p>\n ‘You shall not<\/strong> make for yourself an idol<\/strong>, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth<\/strong> beneath or in the water under the earth.<\/em>” Deuteronomy 5:8\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n What will happen to the church if they continue to upload such false teachings? This is what will happen:<\/p>\n “It shall come about if you ever forget the LORD your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you will surely perish<\/strong>.<\/em>” Deuteronomy 8: 19\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/ubfriends.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/received_1414453478589976-655x1024.png\")
