Should UBF be reformed or shut down for good?
To reiterate the question the question should we attempt to change the UBF system or shut down the UBF system for good? There has been four attempts at reforming UBF and a follow up. And there were some successes such as spreading awareness of issues, meeting new people, and simply having discussions.
I personally believe that UBF should be shut down for good for the following reasons:
- the false gospel Leeism a.k.a UBFism is still being preached
- Loyalty, Submission (blind), and Disciple [L.S.D] is still being pushed
- People are still getting spiritually killed
- UBF has become the very thing they detest: Pharisees
This is evident with two of the “reform” chapters: El Camino UBF and CSUN UBF. Check out this testimony from a former CSUN UBF chapter member.
As for the El Camino UBF chapter check out the following articles:

- http://ubfriends.net/a-friendship-fractured/
As you can see in all the links both UBF chapters are still fundamentally UBF. UBF has become like a car that has become a lemon.
That is why I believe UBF should be shut down for good never to resurface. As far as the application of arrestment here is an outline of how the arrestment should be conducted. (Note: This is an outline)
- Spreading awareness of the atrocities and crimes of UBF
- Getting media and 3rd parties involved
- Having all the UBF perpetrators go to court and await trial
- All of the survivors & Victims get professional help, support groups, and led to healthy churchs
Here below is Ben Toh’s and Wikigoat’s articles on reforming UBF and the origins of the Westloop church:

So what do you believe? Do you think that UBF should be shut down for good or maybe it should go through change? Was there any points/arguments, or evidence that I may have missed? Leave a comment down below.
Shut it down.
I agree. Shut it down. Out of the 1000+ reasons that people have mentioned so far, the following reasons are coming to mind right now.
A former member, who left UBF about 20 years ago, is still receiving counseling.
A current member, who has been with UBF for almost his entire adult life, told me that he had to hide his daughter’s serious illness from the leadership (missionaries + native shepherds)because they would persecute his family if his daughter’s condition became known.
Her illness was in no way controversial, not even according to UBF’s rules and regulations about approved and not approved conditions.
Yet he is still a loyal member. Go figure!
crooked world/unlikely reformation: can pimps forgo status/profit/pleasure?
prophets were killed/not heeded, kingdom eventually ended; parable tenants killed the owner’s son, owner would return to kill tenants; the very Son of God was killed, AD70 destruction of temple/Jerusalem occurred
priests pedophiled/bishops covered, exposure limits; police kill/supervisors coverup, exposure limits; university officials fleece, exposure limits;
ubf harms/kills, exposure limits/shutdown will be divine
Church institutions should not exist only people trying to learn to improve their life by learning the ethical principles that Jesus taught on a individual level voluntarily interacting with other individuals that is exactly what I thought University Bible Fellowship was and I still support such a principle.
However that means there should be no official representatives, there should be no more legal entity known as University Bible Fellowship nor any other corporation. I am consistent and say the same thing about all churches and corporations and even do not consider the United States itself a legitimate thing.
However if people still want to meet as an individual choice in a systematic way who are we to stop them but they should choose to meet free from fraud and coercion in their decision making processs
What will people do with the buildings though after it is shut down?
If they are sold what will happen to the money?
What if people want to continue meeting their friends their but have no more building?
Oh well there are restaurants and parks and houses it is a insignificant point in light of the greater moral issue
But as long as the United States is believed to exist people need Church and Corporate status as a legal shield
And that is the core problem the belief in authority by other people requires fraudulent institutions as a legal shield
You can not shut down University Bible Fellowship it does not exist, it is only something people believe in
