** Admin update: The transcript of the first few minutes has been added to this article ** This audio clip was submitted recently. It creeps me out. Please take a listen and share your reactions. This 22 minutes is all you need to know about UBF and the mind control that goes on there. They keep working on you to break you down mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
This is an audio clip from the summer of 2016 of a UBF “shepherd” trying to find out why his “sheep” did not attend the Friday testimony sharing…
Transcript of the first few minutes…this is nearly the same conversation I had as a sheep in 1987, but this was recorded in 2016…The UBF one-to-one weekly Bible study is multi-purpose. Sometimes the meeting has nothing to do with the Bible or with study, but with rebuke or indoctrination…This is not just “one conversation”… this is par for the course all over UBF in every UBF chapter…
shepherd: hey.. What happened on Friday? Are you not coming?
sheep: Like I said Sunday, me and my mom made an agreement on regards to Friday what we are gonna do
shepherd: So that -in that agreement means you don’t come?
sheep: No, its just um, we just worked out just some of the details on how we’re going to do it.
shepherd: Ok– so you guys are still working it out kind of thing?
sheep: No we worked it out but now its just executing that plan.
shepherd: Soooo does that mean you come next Friday?
sheep: um No um
shepherd: I don’t understand how anyone executes “not coming” though?
sheep: It depends. She didn’t want me to disclose all the details.
shepherd: So ok, so… that’s fine. No details I can understand that.
sheep: That’s what she asked me to do.
shepherd: Ok does that mean you’re not gonna come, like just certain Fridays?
sheep: Well like it just depends on the situation for the week.
shepherd: Ok, So it depends on her, if she can give you a ride?
sheep: No no, just the situation in general.
shepherd: Ok.. sigh… So she’s ok with you coming on Sunday.
sheep: Yes Sunday she’s absolutely fine for sure.
shepherd: But Fridays you guys are kinda working that out?
sheep: Yes.
shepherd: So it’s not really…is it more of a ride issue?
sheep: No not ride issues, it’s something else.
shepherd: Yea….well…is it…is it something she has toward the ministry or something?
sheep: no
shepherd: Because these kinds of things pop up and when we struggle to put God absolutely, you know putting God first that’s the whole point of this new life. you know, God gave Israel people the law, his laws, so that they would always put God first, so that no matter what, in anything, they would do what God wants them to do. and that when they obeyed them, then they had strength. When God gave Adam that first command, it was because what? God made Adam in his image and likeness to have real fellowship. And the only thing that could happen is if you know they put themselves first kind of thing So When we put God first in everything that we do..
sheep: In other words, come Fridays and Sundays?
shepherd: Well no I’m just trying to see, just trying to help you to um you know put God first in these practical things you know Friday and Sunday. It’s a way for you to put God first you know its a way for you to put God first.
sheep: And if I don’t then it’s not, then I can’t put God first?
shepherd: (gasp) um no, it’s, don’t think of it that way, just struggle with all you can to make it, um. whether you know I have to give you a ride or something like that, it’s good to put God first in that way, but um, um yea it’s good to put…it’s what you think you that should do for God. I don’t want to tell you that you have to come on Friday…Because if you have something with your mom, like toward our mothers and say we don’t come on Friday, it doesn’t mean you don’t put God first, you have to think why is it you can’t come to Friday, and then maybe somehow figure out a way you can, so that in that way you know,
shepherd: This is God’s mission for you , you know in Ecclesiastes, God has given us a great mission and things like that so you know it’s good put God first and struggle and struggle as much as we can to put God first. That’s what God commands. God commands us to love him with all our heart soul mind and strength, do not have anything else before him, but of course if there is some issue that’s fine, and you don’t come it doesn’t mean that you don’t worship God. I just want you to have that sense of struggling to put God first in everything that you do. You know God doesn’t tell you what to do you know, it’s really between God and you. It’s not… God does not force you to do things.
shepherd: I’m not saying that you need to come and otherwise you’re not gonna worship I just want you to have that sense of like, somehow, you put God first.like if there’s anyway you can? then struggle to come. Let’s say you have a job and you work until 9 pm, well then, maybe you can’t come on Fridays, right? Just struggle as much as you can, you know. But I mean i understand if your mom can’t take you, if she’s tired, but i don’t know, what about taking the bus?
sheep: Like I said, it’s not about transportation it’s about something else.
shepherd: sigh…well I don’t know what that is…
Pieces of flair
Wow, if I may ask, how in the world did you get a hold of such a recording?
“A job is NOT a valid reason to miss Friday.”
But I guess stating it in the positive with a “maybe” at the end is more gentle.
I have many of these, from 2015 and 2016. More to come.
The wording is correct. The shepherd here tells the sheep that if they had a job they might have a valid reason for skipping Friday meeting. Of course we know if the sheep did have a job that would then suddenly become an invalid reason.
It is sort of bait and switch. You think at that moment that a job is a reason to miss, like a normal person. Later if the sheep does get a job, the shepherd will challenge that reason. The sheep slowly stops putting up a fight because “normal” and “valid” is always being redefined.
I am working to transcribe this. The discussion is the same as I had back in 1987. UBFism in 2016 is no different.
