What an ex-Korean missionary had to say about UBF part 2
Testimony by M. Susanna P. as of October 1st, 2000
Susanna P. is a Korean UBF missionary who was a long-time member of Bonn UBF and who was later sent out to pioneer an affiliated UBF ministry in the city of Siegen in Germany. In this letter written on October 1st, 2000, she writes about several grievous things she experienced during her stay in and continued connection with the Bonn UBF ministry, especially involving its director, Peter Chang. It is one of the rare documents in which a UBF woman missionary dares to tell the truth about her missionary life in UBF. The letter was originally written in Korean and has been translated. Her report was confirmed by several other missionaries who had left Bonn UBF earlier and one year later by similar testimonies by two German coworkers. However, the official UBF called her letter a “slandering campaign” only and did not care. Peter Chang himself, in response, called her and her husband, who supported her, “savage wolves” and “wicked servants of Satan”, who made up everything, and he declared that the letter was a “hundred percent lie.” Nothing changed in Bonn UBF since then.
Gnosticism and sneaky wording
There is a difference between a claim being true and stating that if someone does not believe a claim is true upon the moment of death they will go to Hell after they die. Below is a list of claims that are not equivalent to one another however people often confuse the types of claims. I give many examples below. There are also different definitions of the word believe. Changing around the definition of the word believe can be used to make people afraid of going to Hell for accessing the wrong information and changing what claims they believe. Consider the adjectives, verbs, prepositions, articles and any other qualifying words and phrases next to the word believe when you read verses in the Bible also consider the tense the word believe is conjugated into and the fact that the Bible is translated from another language if and when you read it in English so as not to fall for these kinds of traps.

After writing his testimony in April 2001, listing some of the grievous things he experienced in Bonn UBF, Andreas P. wrote another article, trying to analyze in which way the practices of Bonn UBF contradict the biblical teaching, especially challenging the concept of “the Servant of God” and how in Bonn UBF relationships in the ministry and the families should look like.

Recovering from UBF personal application hermeneutics
Title: Discipleship Methods within UBF
Purpose of this article: To show the difference between the principles I was taught in the outer layer of UBF which were in many (but not all) ways good except for a lack of objectivity and what I later learned from Samuel lee loyalists in the inner layer of UBF which suppressed the authentic discipleship style I was taught earlier within the same organization! I also wish to make suggestions for how to increase objectivity in Bible study, which might help improve the discipleship process in an area that was lacking.
Disclaimer: It is a problematic oversimplification to put UBF members into two camps but it saves much writing space just keep in mind that people are more complicated than I explain they might behave like Samuel Lee loyalists in one situation but not in another and might be only partly loyal to Samuel Lee rather than completely loyal.
