“Because you matter to God.” Those were the words at the end of an email I received today, on an invitation to a church event.

To most people, these words probably are just taken for granted. Many may dismiss the words as just another Christian cliche. But to me, they reverberated with joy through my soul! While I have known the truth of these words for decades, it is very refreshing to actually read them!

Some people wonder, does anyone care? Others wonder, do I matter to anyone? Let’s remember to say and write these words: God cares. God thinks you make a difference. Our Lord God created this vast universe, but only one of you. Each of us is irreplaceable.
